When I hopped off of a ferry boat and onto Aegina island more than 30 years ago, I would never have believed that Aegina would become my home - even though it was love at first sight. I live on Aegina with my family and many cats and dogs. Luck and chance brought me here but I couldn't have chosen a better place to live. Aegina is a beautiful island with a fascinating history, inhabited by warm, hospitable people, surrounded by glittering clear blue sea and with deliciously healthy Greek cuisine that I'll never grow tired of. I have been living on Aegina for more than 30 years and during that time I've learnt so much of the island's history, mythology, traditions and way of life. I love introducing my guests to all of the wonders that Aegina has to offer I am not a licenced guide

Overview of your Aegina tour
On this walking tour we will experience the natural beauty of Aegina island. Aegina has a wonderful variety of flora and, in winter, fields are covered in wild flowers and herbs. Thyme, Sage, Lavander, rocket and Oregano are some of the herbs that grow here. After the first autumn rains, when Cyclamon and Crocus appear, fields become green and colorful. In spring we are treated to a spectacle of carpets of colorful flowers covering hills and fields.
Your Aegina tour itinerary
I will pick you up from the port of Aegina, or, if you are staying on the island, from your hotel. We'll drive to the starting point of our walk. The walk will take approximately three hours or more if you prefer walking at a more leisurely pace. I will return you to the port of Aegina or to your boat after the walk is done.
