The ultimate Christmas Experience - Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Nürnberg Visit two of Germanys best preserved medieval cities - Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Nürnberg - each a gem of arts and architecture of iots wn. And each world famous for ist Christmas Traditions and Christmas Markets. Dive deep into the special atmosphere of the Reiterles Markt in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, taste the local pastries called „Schneeballen - snowballs" and visit the Christmas Museum run by the Queen of Christmas Käthe Wolfahrt. Besides the Christmas traditions you will learn about prominent major, a mighty cathedral and why one drop of the blood of Christ changed the history of a whole area. With all the impressions of Rothenburg we will head back to Nuremberg und visit the world famous Christkindles Markt. Feel like a local with the day tourists gone and enjoy a mug of Glühwein, 3 Nürnberger sausages in a roll and of course the famous gingerbread, while listening to a local brass and or choir performing Christmas Songs.
Your Nuremberg tour itinerary
I will pick you up whereever you want in Nuremberg. Marvel at the Frakonian Landscape while travelling aprrox. one hour in my comfortable Tesla Model Y, heading for Rothenburg ob der Tauber. If you wish we can have lunch at a typical Frankonian Gasthof or in a Restaurant in a castle over 1000 years old - more pricy but worth it. In Rothenburg I'll give you an overview of the city by car and a short walk. And you have enough time to indulge into the Christmas Market and the Christmas Museum. A one hour drive will bring us back to Nuremberg, where you will get an overview of the cities history and main sights. We will finish this impressive day on the world famous Christkindles Market.
