Through all the centuries you will find historical buildings in the old town of Nuremberg. The two big churches started their origin in the romanesque epoche and also the chapel near the fortress is built in that style. We are talking about the period from 1000 till 1250 bc The gothic epoche started in 1250 and ran out in 1550. We'll find this style also in the two main churches but also the fortress and other imperial city buildings. From 1550 till 1650 we had the period of the renaissance. The biggest remaining building in this style is the Old Town Hall. Historism starts in 1820 and ends in 1910. We'll find a beautiful building near St. Sebald. But we also had a special style in this period in Nuremberg. It's called "The Nurembergian Style". There are some special buildings left, like an old hotel or parts of the Old Town Hall. The gigantism of the Nazi time you can see at the Nazi party rally grounds in a separate tour.
