After living in the west, north, south and east of Germany and studying at the universities of Bonn, Munich, Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia) and Taipei (Taiwan) I moved to Nuremberg more than 20 years ago for the first time. It was not a love at first sight, so I moved to the United States of America for 3 years, then my husband's job brought us back to Nuremberg again. Only then I realized what a great place to live! An old, but modern city full of live, culture and history. Since 2006 I love to show the beauty and vibrance of the city to guests coming from all corners of the world and support delegations, journalists, influencer and film teams. In its 1000 years of history Nuremberg was always a center of the time, then and now: Medieval period, industrial era of the 19th century, Third Reich and 21st century. In my tours I like to provide you a good of overview of all this different periods. Due to my more almost 20 years of experience as a certified tour guide in Nuremberg, I can guide you through the old city of Nuremberg, Imperial Castle, city hall, St. Johns graveyard, baroque gardens, beer-cellars, art bunker, former Nazi Party Rallye Grounds, Memorium Nuremberg Trials and much more. The situation of nowadays Nuremberg are always a part of my tours as well. Seasonal events will not be forgotten. Claudia was an outstanding guide. She customized our tour of Nuremberg to allow us to see all of our requested sights in the short amount of time we had for our visit. She was knowledegable, pesrsonable, patient and had a lovely sense of humor. She even chose a perfect spot for a German lunch. Very highly recommended.
Claudia provided our group an excellent tour of Nuremberg. We told her that we would be boarding a Viking River cruise and would be provide a city tour by Viking, but were interested in the Rslly grounds and trial history. She was familiar with the Viking tour and accommodated us specifically to get the most history and not duplicate our next tour. She meet us promptly at our hotel and included the city history as well as providing insight to the varying experiences of the German population individual experiences that shape the views of people today. Her insights provided us a truly personal understanding of the past snd present. She was patient with our group and stated beyond the 4 hours and explained the trolley system use for us to continue our exploration, allowing our group to break up and all head back to specific interests. Claudia was extremely flexible and accommodating to our specific group. -as well as extremely knowledgeable and organized to present a chronological history.

This tour was excellent. Claudia is a very knowledgeable guide and led us on a fantastic tour. She did an excellent job of moving our large group to and from relevant sites and made helping us understand the history and the relevance for today of the places we were seeing. The Nuremberg courtroom exhibit was very powerful- definitely a must see.

Suggested Itinerary: * Start at the Main Train Station of Nuremberg * Take public transportation to the former Nazi Party Rallye Grounds, tour Zeppelin Field with Zeppeling Tribune and Congress Hall (outside). * Next stop Memorium Nuremberg Trials will be reached by public transportation. Having a short presentation in the Courtroom 600 where the trials have taken place, short visit of the exhibition. * From here taking the subway to the old city, walking along the highlights of the old town.
