This tour provides an overview of the "Rally Grounds" and Nuremberg's Old Town and is a great way to learn about the "former nazi party rally grounds", and also about Nuremberg's medieval history. This tour is a great way to round out your overall knowledge of Nuremberg. I present a tour in a way that allows my guests to make their own mental connections because, after all, a tour with just interesting information is infotainment. The most memorable tours are those that prompt people to think and feel.
Excellent 1/2 day private tour with Kevin visiting the rallying grounds, proposed stadium and parade grounds, and the courthouse. We appreciated Kevin’s fast paced, clear and concise overviews and his accompanying pictures and narrative that illustrate how the sites looked in the 1940’s. It’s a “must do” tour if you are from the U.S. and want to better understand the rise and fall of the Nazi regime. It will give you much to digest and contemplate for weeks afterwards.

We arranged a custom tour that visited the small towns my family is from, along with full tours of Bamberg, Nuremburg Old Town, parade grounds and trials sites, and Dachau. Kevin was excellent. Full of knowledge and stories, Kevin is exactly what I look for in a guide. Especially recommended for Bamberg and Nuremberg Old Towns. It felt like Kevin knew every nook and cranny of each, taking us to spots we would have never discovered on our own. Be sure to have the Rauchbier and Bamberg onion - deliciious!
We originally signed up for the Nuremberg Highlight Tour but asked to switch to the WW2 Tour. Keven is quite knowledgeable about the history leading up to and involving WW2. The jewel in the crown for us was the Justice Palace where the Nuremberg Trials were held. This was at the end of our tour. I recommend staying on after the tour and following the entire self guided audio tour. It will take a few hours but worth the time.
Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and well prepared. Most of our group had very limited knowledge on WW2, but with the help of the trusty folder of pictures, we really learnt a lot. The car was very comfortable and was perfect for the less mobile amongst us.
What you'll see During this tour, we will start by visiting the "Luitpold Arena" site, the "Congress Hall", and the "Zeppelin Field". Afterward, we will drive to Nuremberg's Old Town and see the Main Market Square, the largest half-timered house in Nuremberg, White Tanner's Lane, and St. Sebald Church.
