One of the most unbelievable tours ever! This tour with Charly was so far above and beyond the price, I can assure you that the splurge is well worth it! Spending the day with Charly was absolute treat in itself, it was like spending the day with a family member or best friend! I cannot say enough great things about him, truly, and we can’t say thank you enough for the amazing, insightful day exploring Nuremberg. There are tons of other tours, and self guided ways to see the city, but I would have honestly been disappointed had we gone that direction. And truth be told, I had planned to do it that way but my husband really wanted to make sure he got to dive into war history so I booked the tour. He truly gave us a novels worth of information beyond what any tour could. He was right there with us, giving us invaluable insight and extra information well beyond anything a tour or signage offered. He helped us get very amazing photo and scooted us past barriers and lines that we couldn’t have overcome without him. It ended up being a bit rainy, so having his help in driving us around in his beautiful Tesla was much appreciated! He tailored the day to match our needs and interests and I was genuinely sad to leave him at the end of the day. He truly created a once in a lifetime experience for us, and allowed us to explore areas we would have probably missed on our own. We got to experience an the most delightful sausages on the sidewalk from a local butcher shop for lunch, and got amazing recommendations for other places to go after we departed, that we normally wouldn't have found, despite my months of researching and planning. We shared endless laughs and cheeky jokes, and had countless meaningful discussions about history, lore and “alleged” events, at times even weaving our own humor and characters into the stories making it that much more special. There was a lot of truly meaningful conversation, history lessons and open discussions which was such a delight, and something you would never get on a standard tour. He picked us right in the train station so we didn’t have to miss a moment of the day, and even sent us a selfie so we knew who we were looking for. From the moment we met we knew we had a friend, and we trusted him immediately. Having our own vehicle gave us a place to keep our belongings and luggage, without carrying packs around like every other tourist. There was a time that I questioned the purchase of a tour but now I’m questioning myself for ever thinking that because this was well beyond worth it! Please don’t hesitate to book a tour with Charly, you will absolutely not regret it!
