Würzburg from Frankfurt private guided day tour.

As local guide I am going to show you the most interesting sites of the Financial Metropolis of Europe headquarters of the Central European Bank. We pass by car many sites of this 720. 000 people city. We make a stop in the totally reconstructed "medieval" center of the Roemer and Cathedral of the Emperors area with nearby a superbe archeological display as well as the city hall, a local food market and the Saint Paul church. After a 1, 15 hour drive through the scenic country side and Spessart Forest you get a walking tour of Wuerzburg. The vibrant city has 140. 000 inhabitants of which 28. 000 students. A 25 minute walk via the "old Main bridge" takes us to the Fortress area from where you can enjoy great views of the city on the Main river below. You may taste the local wine there or a coffee break before we walk down again towards the Unesco "Residenz" for a guided tour of the former luxury palace of the Prince-Bishops if required (highly recommended). This is only one of my favourite visits!
