German Riesling Tour - Half Day Trip from Frankfurt

We had one day in Frankfurt, ready to fly home. We chose Tours by Locals as we have used them before. We didn’t want a city tour but wanted to taste German Riesling, we are from Northern California. What a treat, great communication with Sabine to coordinate our hotel pickup. I loved her energy and her sharing information about Germany on our drive. Our wine stops were memorable, full of history and yummy wine. Yes, we packed our suitcases with purchases. Sabines choice of wineries were wonderful, the landscaping, the old buildings and the inviting reception by the wineries. We asked to fit in a lunch break, we toured a touristy area, a great old clock with moving characters then a turn at a corner to a quiet area of the village for a lovely local lunch. We appreciated her safe driving as there was city driving, autobahn and small wine roads. Thank you Sabine

This tour with Sabine was excellent. Not at a loss with words, Sabine is very knowledgeable about the wineries and the industry. I highly recommend this tour and Sabine if you are in the Frankfurt area. She picked us up at our airport hotel at the specified time and off we went. thank you Sabine!

Had a great time with Sabine! Her transportation was clean and well maintained. We toured several wineries and were able to sample at every location. We concluded with a small tour of Ruedesheim am Rhein, where we were able to sample other vintages. If you are interested in a Reisling day trip, Sabine is a great choice.

Wonderful tour of the German Riesling vineyards. Sabine was knowable and made sure that she understood what I really wanted in this tour and customized as such. (e.g. Wine tasting, made sure I checked the right types of Riesling - Semi Dry v to sweet) Combined that with history of the vineyards and Rieslings made this a wonderful tour and would do it again. Plus the drive was wonderful along the Rhine river (added bonus) - On time - Great on communication throughout the process start to finish
