I am curious about people, their cultures and am interested in the respective spirit of time (art, culture, history, cuisine, fashion, sport, interior, and much more). I can arrange for a separate car and driver if requested. But keep in mind Frankfurt is a city by walking distances.

Against a glittering backdrop of modern skyscrapers, Frankfurt is home to charming, cobbled streets and half-timbered medieval buildings, gorgeous green spaces and world-class museums and galleries. Explore the unique mix of a modern big city and its old tradition by more than 1200 years of history. . . Don't miss after the Tour: The Maintower a rooftop observation platform with a spectacular panoramic view of Frankfurt.
Sylvia was wonderful and easy going. During our tour, we wanted to taste the coffees and the foods that we passed and it was no problem for Sylvia. Although, I wish I would have saved space for the farmer’s market building. She knew a wealth of information about the city and it was a nice walk.
Silvia did a wonderful job as our tour guide, and she was also very flexible. Our flight got in nearly an hour early, and she was able to move up the start of our tour with ease. She met us directly and on time at our hotel to start the tour. She was very knowledgeable about Frankfurt and the area, and provided lots of insight. We would highly recommend Sylvia to others!

We will explore the modern center and the new reconstructive old town - the heart of Frankfurt - and start/end at Hauptwache (in front of the Cafe Hauptwache), a square with historical significance. We will see among others: • Frankfurt Stock Exchange, one of the popular photo hotspots with Bull & Bear • Old Opera, an impressive building, for years known as Germany's most beautiful ruin • Eschenheimer Tower, once the city gate of the late medieval city fortifications • Bartholomäus Cathedral, also known as the Imperial Cathedral • New Old Town reconstruction, experience the flair, interesting facts about the origins • Römer (Townhall), with its famous balcony for soccer fans or celebrities • Eiserner Steg, famous iron footbridge, great view over the river Main. It is a walking tour (please wear comfortable shoes) but other mode of transportation can be arranged at additional cost. A day ticket for public transport up to 5 person costs 24 € (City Center & Airport). Please Note: The participation in my tours is at your own risk. I exclude any liability for damage of any kind, both personal injury and damage to property. LAYOVER GUESTS: Frankfurt city center is only 30 min from the airport. Give yourself about 90 min from arrival back at the airport to boarding (when your luggage is checked through to your end destination). Please Note: I am happy to meet you on arrival in the terminal.
