I work as a tour guide and travel assistant for several years now, starting out as a USO guide all over Germany and most European capitals. My passion is to bring the German culture closer to everybody who visits Frankfurt and wants to find out more than the eyes can meet. Let me guide you like only a friend would when visiting from out of town. We all know the feeling if visiting a new city and having limited time, one would like to make the best of it w/out wasting time to look around and ending up not finding the right things to see, food to taste or shopping with a bargain. Visit your forefathers hometown
Overview of your Frankfurt tour
After pick up at your desired location, we'll drive to your ancestors village and explore some insights where your forefathers left their footprints. As each tour can be different and time varies, depending on how much time we have, we'll enjoy a traditional German lunch at the hometown where they once lived or just a snack on the go. . but the spirit of those who were here once before can be found still, I am sure. After exploring those areas we'll go back to your desired destination where the tour ends.
Your Frankfurt tour itinerary
Pick up in Frankfurt or anywhere within 50 kilometers. we'll meet and drive up to your ancestors village where we'll ( hopefully) meet some of your extended relatives and listen to their family memories. If that's not possible, we'll visit the church and cemetery ourselves to find footprints of your ancestors. After exploring what's possible and spending the day in that area we'll drive back time accordingly where this tour ends. As times can vary and things we can do, is upon prior research, we'll play it by ear as we go along. Or contact me for a customized tour.
