On the way to Rothenburg the other highlight of the day enjoy the relaxing scenery of the Romantic road along the Tauber river, old medieval walled villages forested areas and vineyards. Walk on top the high & mighty city walls stroll through the well preserved medieval town or taste the "Schneeballen" local pastry. Look at amazing Käthe Wohlfahrt Xmas shop, the pilgrimage church of St James with the Tilmen Riemenschneider's Altar supposedly containing two drops of Jesus blood or simply share the local hospitality and ambiance.
