"The world is at home in Frankfurt am Main, people from over 170 countries reside here in peaceful harmony. Here in Germany, only Berlin has more diplomatic missions and international schools. Frankfurt is well known as a city of short distances. It is also known to be a place of open minds and open hearts. Come and be our guests - you, your family and your friends. " Many people flying into Frankfurt Airport have several hours before their connection flight and are missing the chance to visit Frankfurt. You can change that right now. If you have 3 or more hours I can meet your plane and come into the city with you on the subway. We can see some of the famous local sites: The Römer The Dom - the newly restored cathedral. The Alstadt - the lovely old city square. The breathtaking skyline and hidden hot spots of Frankfurt. The Goethe house We can also go to any of the museums you wish to see. We have many so let me know if there is one you have an interest in. I am a professional museum guide/docent
Suggested Itinerary: Discovery of the old town and the "new" old town Visit of the imperial cathedral St. Paul's cathedral / the craddle of German democracy The hotspots of the moment in town Discovery of culinary delights ( I am a slow food member since 20 years) Visit of the Goethe or Städel museum etc. This tour can be modified according to your requests and personal tastes and interests.
