I am a French teacher and an official licensed guide, mother of twins that have been guiding with passion in English and Spanish for more than 15 years in France. I graduated in foreign languages (Spanish and English) and was delighted to spend some time in Santa Barbara to teach French to American students. I then specialized in communication and media and worked in this field for many years. My passion for travelling and meeting new international people was so strong that I decided in my 30's to open a bed and breakfast in Paris and to go back to university to become a licensed tour guide in order to share with travelers from all over the world my passion for France and the "French art de vivre". As a professional guide, I always make sure my tours adapt to the style of the people I guide. I want you to live a unique experience by sharing with you my secret and favourite places in Provence. Provence has so much to offer: tasty food, wonderful monuments, incredible history, ancestral traditions and amazing creative people. . Overview of your Marseille tour
You will start your day with Aix en Provence, the most elegant city in Provence. You will walk along the Cours Mirabeau and other majestic avenues and narrow streets to find hidden squares and elegant fountains. Of course, you will taste the famous Calisson local speciality and have the chance to go to an authentic Provencal food market. A great experience full of colors, deliciously noisy and joyfully tempting that you will be happy to live ! After exploring the city, time for shopping, lunch or a short break at the terrace of the charming local cafés before going back to Marseille. A driver will come to pick us up to discover the emblem of the city : Notre Dame de la Garde basilica with its incredible and spectacular 360° view on French second biggest city ! To finish the driver will pass through the Old Port of Marseille before dropping you at the cruise port or Marseille city center if you want to keep on exploring the city by yourself.
