Normandy is not simply the place where I work, it is home. I was born and raised in the Bessin, just a few miles from the D-Day beaches, surrounded by places where history is still very much part of everyday life. I am naturally curious, passionate about history and storytelling, and I especially love discovering the people behind the events. For me, the best stories are often found in a personal memory, an unexpected detail, or a place you might easily pass without realizing what happened there. My first passion was theatre, and I studied drama before becoming a licensed professional guide. It may seem like an unusual path, but the two worlds fit together perfectly! Guiding, to me, is about bringing a story to life. I don't want you to spend your day listening to an endless list of dates, names, and military facts. I want you to understand what happened, why it mattered, and, above all, who experienced it. After many years of guiding, this is still what I love most about my job: every group is different, every conversation is different, and there is always another story to tell. Having grown up here gives me a special connection to Normandy and particularly to the D-Day beaches. Beyond the major sites, I love sharing individual stories of soldiers and civilians, local memories, and lesser-known places that help make the events of 1944 more human and meaningful. And while D-Day is an important part of my work, Normandy has many other stories to tell. We can step into the medieval world of Bayeux, follow in the footsteps of William the Conqueror, explore Mont-Saint-Michel, discover our coastline and countryside, or simply take the time to enjoy the atmosphere of a Norman village. If you have a family connection to the region or a particular historical interest, I am always happy to research it and make it part of our experience whenever possible. My tours are private and personal, so there is no need to follow a rigid script. Ask questions, tell me what fascinates you, change the pace, stop for a photograph, or spend longer somewhere that moves you. Whether this is your first visit to Normandy or a journey with a very personal meaning, I would be delighted to welcome you and help you discover my region through its history, its people, and its stories. And if you don't find exactly what you are looking for among my suggested tours, just tell me what you have in mind! I am always happy to create a customized itinerary based on your interests, wishes and pace, so that your time in Normandy truly feels like your own experience.

Stand on the beaches where thousands of young men landed on June 6, 1944. Walk through the fields where American paratroopers fought through the night, look down from the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc and experience the silence of the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach. On this private driver-guided tour, history is not just something I will tell you — it is something I want you to experience. Using the landscape, maps, photographs and personal stories, we will connect what you see today with what happened here in 1944 and, above all, with the people who lived through it. Growing up just a few miles from these historic sites gives me a very personal connection to their stories. Whether you know D-Day history well or are discovering it for the first time, I will help you understand not only what happened, but what it meant for the soldiers and civilians who experienced it.
