Tallinn Time-Travel Tour – Medieval, Soviet & Modern Estonia

Astra was the perfect guide for our two days in Tallinn. She is pleasant, professional, personable, and well- organized. She is a happy person with a good sense of humor. Her English is excellent. She is flexible and adapted our tours to our interests and abilities. She has a large, comfortable car and she is a great driver. The content of her tours are spectacular. Jagala Waterfall, Viru Bog Trail, and Atja Fishing Village we're beautiful and interesting. The small restaurant in the National Park was great. We had some traditional Estonian food for lunch which was delicious. It was nice to get out of the city and see some beautiful nature and learn more about the culture and history of Estonia. The next day, we had a wonderful tour in Kadriorg Palace and Park, walked around the "Bohemian" district and had a nice lunch in the Rotermann Quarter. We had already spent a lot of time in Old Town on our own. So instead, we went to a beautiful and interesting open air museum. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day. We have been on many tours in many parts of the world. Astra is one of the best guides we have ever worked with. We highly recommend her as a tour guide inTallinn!

Astra was a wonderful tour guide. She did exactly as advertised, took us through a time machine from Medieval times, through the Soviet Era, to modern times. Born and raised in Estonia, including as a young child during Soviet times, she knew so much history, sprinkled with some amazing insights and anecdotes. We made several stops along the way, a fantastic shop in old town, a wonderful cafeteria for coffee and a bite to eat, and the market where we were overwhelmed by the fish, flowers and produce. I am quite sure that she could tailor the tour to anyone's interests and we would absolutely look her up if we ever have the chance to visit Tallinn again!
