Alex gave us a wonderful tour of Tallinn and it ended up being our favorite city of the entire trip. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling brought the city's history to life, and he made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Alex met us as we disembarked the ferry in Tallinn. As we drove away from the Port he said, "Here's what I hope to show you today..." and outlined an itinerary he had clearly put thought into. We followed most of his plan with Alex allowing detours at our request or that made perfect sense along the way. His depth of knowledge was incredible; Alex knew Tallinn like the back of his hand. He guided us through quiet alleyways, hidden corners, scenic viewpoints and charming photo ops we never would have discovered on our own. A few times he said, "Go explore--I'll be back in 5 minutes," and he'd return with some unique and delicious Estonian treat for us to share. Alex provided the perfect balance of history, culture and attractions. His genuine love and enthusiasm for Tallinn/Estonia were absolutely infectious. Alex's tour was the best travel experience of our Finland/Estonia trip!

This was a great Tour of Tallinn and having the vehicle allowed to see a lot of different parts of the city versus being confined to the Old Town area. Alex pointed out a number of different areas to see after the tour which was also helpful. Also met right at hotel which was convenient.

What a wonderful tour of Tallinn because of our guide, Alex. He had so much knowledge of the area and told us great stories of the people and places we visited. We visited parks and castles, churches and the city wall, a fresh food market where we ate and shopped, and walked up a hill to enjoy the most beautiful views of the city. Alex also went out of his way to pick us up at the KGB museum and drop us off at the cruise port. If you want a complete Tallinn experience, Alex T would be a great choice.

We had a great time with Alex who planned the day perfectly to avoid the crowds. Learned a lot about the history of Estonia as well as life today in a country we did not know well. Old town is amazing.
