My name is Eva-Maria and I am passionate about Estonia and guiding. I have been working as a guide since I was in high school. I started as an assistant guide for cruise ship tourists and have been working as a tour guide for 20 years now. I love traveling and communicating with people from all different cultures. I am a friendly and cheerful person and treat my clients as if they were my friends. I like to give interesting insights of Estonian life, therefore instead of having a monologue-type observation of the city, you will enter into friendly discussion and learn about the country through local eyes. As for languages, I provide tours in English and Estonian. I can offer different tours in Tallinn: Old Town walking tours, city tours, round trips and also a Soviet Legacy tour where I show the remains of Soviet heritage in Tallinn. I have also tour options that are suitable for families with children with marzipan workshop or Viking Village visit to try archery and ax throwing. I can take you to and experience the nature and beautiful countryside of Estonia in Lahemaa National Park. Over the years I have developed some fantastic connections with my clients, such as the Canadian Embassy in Tallinn. We have a mutual appreciation of high professionalism and flexibility. I have hosted groups and individuals from ministers during official engagements to private guests in town for a visit. I will humbly add the thoughts of one of my clients: "Eva Maria was WONDERFUL!! I will definitely recommend her services and plan to do so again in the future!! If you are wondering who to book with. . . you found it - Eva Maria! Great personality, EXTREMELY WELL educated and will NOT steer you wrong! Well educated on the history, including humorous myths/thoughts. There wasn't a single question that "stumped" her (and we tried :-) ). I couldn't have asked for more!!! Thank you!" Viimsi Open Air Museum Palmse Manor

You will learn of the fascinating stories of the first Viking inhabitants of this Hanseatic pearl with visits both to the upper and lower old town. Located on the ancient fortress ruins, you will also find the Parliament building and the the Dome Church, dating back to the 13th century. Half way down towards the lower town, once a center of medieval trade, you can revel in the legends of the Danish King Gardens. The charming lower town greets us with a unique atmosphere on the Town Hall Square. Today, no longer the seat of municipality, the venue boasts inviting outdoor cafés and hosts seasonal festivals and fairs. After a short countryside drive, we will arrive to the Viking Village. Explore the Viking lifestyle by learning how to through an axe or a spear in an authentic Viking era fortress or hone your archery skills instead. A delicious local dish of pork, sauerkraut and herb potatoes, fit for a wild Viking will end the experience.
