Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is a cultural phenomenon. It combines incompatible things. For example, leaving Old Town you find yourself in local "Wall Street" with huge skyscrapers around. Tallinn is very urban city. It invites you to walk along medieval narrow streets, romantic park paths, marine promenades, and sunbathe on the town beach. Tallinn Old Town, no doubt, is the best-preserved among other European northern countries and belongs to UNESCO heritage list. During the tour, we talk about its history and modern life, why it was attractive centuries ago and nowadays. Besides, I show where local people live and shop, or where they go for vacation. My mission as a guide is to make your impressions unforgettable and encourage you to come to Tallinn again. I am licensed in popular town museums, which will let us get acquainted with Tallinn's history in detail. My program is very diversified. Overview of your Tallinn tour
Welcome to Tallinn's Old Town, a UNESCO world heritage site. The Old Town attracts visitors because of its severe gothic dwellings, cozy cobblestone streets, well-made fortress wall with solid towers. It has 2 parts: Downtown - residence of artisans and merchants, and Upper Town - viceroy and nobility area. I will tell you how Tallinn got wealthy, how it attracted invaders and resisted them. You will know why Tallinn was known as a «town of pepper and salt», how Estonians, local Germans, and catholic monks communicated with each other. We'll get acquainted with Tallinn's history through interesting stories and legends. We can't miss the medieval dwellings from the 14-15th century, the oldest Town Hall and Pharmacy in Europe, St Olaf church, having been the highest in the world. We'll see the biggest orthodox church in Estonia, the oldest Dome church. Near it there is Toompea Castle staying, taken by parliament. The climax of the tour is the visit to a viewing platform with a priceless view.

We have been to Tallin 3 times in the past snd have seen more things in 3 hours with Roman than we saw I. All the other times total.
