Welcome to Estonia! My name is Juhan and I'm a typical Estonian for you to explore. I've been part of the Estonian tourism sector for the past 20+ years. I have always been a big fan of Estonia and enjoy very much to promote it in every chance I get. I know that there is so much more in Estonia than Tallinn and I can't wait to show (or at least tell) You about the country beyond the Old Town. I have been hosting private tours over 10 years already and have always enjoyed showing off our beautiful country. As nature is one of Estonian great assets then I always like to take my clients outside of Tallinn and include some time in nature for each tour. I have travelled the world and it's a good chance that I have visited your country as well. Therefore it might be easier to see the tour from your point of view and to customize the tour more to your expectations if needed. As I love travel videography then it's a good chance that you leave Estonia with a short video clip of your day here to show your friends and relatives. Certified Nature Tour Guide in Estonia

The main draws for western Estonia are nature, Paldiski area, Noarootsi Peninsula and the resort town of Haapsalu boasting with cute wooden architecture and long history. The calm and friendly small town of Haapsalu, located less than 2-hour's drive from the capital, enjoys a long-standing history as a spa resort. Haapsalu is a wonderful little town with narrow streets, a miniature town hall and romantic wooden dwelling houses. Once in Haapsalu, don't forget to browse for a traditional hand-woven woollen Haapsalu shawl with fine and elegant patterns. Located north of the coastal town of Haapsalu, Noarootsi peninsula appeal to travelers with their untouched nature and Scandinavian feel. Paldiski, located on the Pakri Peninsula, was one of the most important army bases for both the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. Come and see for yourself how the town, which used to be a closed Soviet nuclear submarine study centre, has changed. On the way back to Tallinn we'll stop for a beautiful waterfall by a river.
This is a full-day tour which means that this is not suitable for cruise passengers. However, it is a perfect day-trip from Helsinki to Tallinn by ship. Tour highlights: - Recently renovated Haapsalu Castle - Haapsalu Promenade and town centre - Local cakes are a must - Noarootsi Peninsula and Nõva Nature Reserve. Coastal Swedes inhabited these western Estonian areas for hundreds of years. Nõva Nature Reserve located there is a beautiful quiet place in the summertime and quite busy with bird-watchers during migratory seasons in the spring and autumn. - Paldiski and Pakri Peninsula. For a long time, the Pakri Peninsula was closed off for the general public as it was used by the Soviet Army. This has lent a certain mystique to the place and given way to a lot of legends. Among other treats, visitors come here for the limestone cliffs and a unique lighthouse. - Keila Waterfall and a stroll around the river.
