Astra was so great to spend the day with. The bog was beautiful and even though it rained a little in Tallinn we had a wonderful lunch and saw the old town sights. She was very flexible and put up with us! It was an excellent day!
Astra was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed our walk around the bogs, where Astra explained the local ecology. It was refreshing to dpend the morning in nature. Then we moved onto Tallin where Astra skillfully toured us around the Old Town area. Astra was a perfect guide for a private tour. My husband is a little slow walking and Astra was so considerate, skillfully making accomodations to make him able to fully enjoy the trip. She always asked if we wanted to do each element of the tour and worked around our choices. When we would have been walking uphill too much for him, she altered her plan and took us to a beautiful modern area near the port. This tour is the best of everything, besutiful nature, lovely city and wonderful guide!
We ended up having less time to complete our tour due to a change in our schedule. Astra made modifications on the fly and still managed to provide us with a wonderful tour that allowed us to enjoy the history of Tallinn as well as the beautiful country side! We loved the national park and waterfall as well as the tour of Tallinn. Astra even took us to a new neighborhood to show us a different side of the city besides the historic center. Astra knew the history of Estonia and provided lots of interesting information about the many transitions the country has gone through in the last hundred or so years.
