Suzhou Full-Day Tour

We loved our tour with Mark. I'd never been to China and neither of us spoke any Chinese. It was a life saver not having to worry about anything - but also having someone who could arrange what we wanted. The great thing about Tours by locals is that you can arrange a tailor made tour, rather than just being given the standard tourist trail schedule. If like me you're rather overwhelmed by the rise and rise of modern China, it's a relief to visit Zujiajiao where you get a glimpse of human scale living with cats, washing on the line and people playing cards. Mark had a good breadth of knowledge about both old and modern China, which I particularly enjoyed hearing about.

Suzhou was great . Understood how Suzhou gets compared to Venice with the multiple canals and small bridges all over . A very nice city . Thank you Xiao Jun for a wonderful chinese new year holiday in Jiangsu. We enjoyed our stay there very much especially with you as our guide. The transport you provided were very spacious and comfortable with beautiful and clean interiors . The airport transfers you arranged were very professional and punctual . We were in very good hands throughout our stay there .

Sometimes things can go wrong and having a tour guide who can make the changes and make things better than expected was "Mark." I Would pick him as my guide any day and I've arranged many trips for my family and travelled with many guides around the world. Suzhou was wonderful for our age group because we were never kept waiting. Our van was always waiting for us even when we had to change vans mid-trip. Our comfort and needs were priority with "Mark".
