The must-see tour includes the Yuyuan Garden area (the most traditional attraction in the city), tea ceremony , the former French Concession (learn about the semi-colonial history of Shanghai), Jade Buddha Temple (local religious life), Lujiazui Finacial Zone(the CBD of Shanghai ) and the Bund area (dubbed the Wall Street in the Far East in the mid-20th century).

This is a long overdue review. My mom has visited me last December and she had a 15 hours layover in Shanghai decided to go out in the city and have a look around. She doesn't speak mandarin and is lower intermediate in English so she was hoping to find a guide for her visit. We've come across Liam's tours after some research and it was the perfect decision to book Liam for the day. I have to say, he has way exceeded our expectations. Not only did he agree to meet my mom at the airport and schedule the tour around her limited time, but he was very attentive, communicative and knowledgeable. My mom was really happy with her trip, she felt safe and got to thoroughly enjoy the whole tour, it was also an ease of mind for me to know that she is not out alone and having someone by her side, not to mention not having to plan the whole tour on our own.
