I’m Mark, a professional English-speaking tour guide from Beijing, and I’ve been guiding international visitors around Beijing for exactly 16 years. In the tourism industry, 16 years is more than just a number—it’s a guarantee of my expertise! You can think of me as a “Beijing Travel Encyclopedia.” I’ve witnessed the changing times and the passing of the seasons at Beijing’s various attractions, have memorized every little-known historical anecdote, and have uncovered countless stunning photo spots that are hard for tourists to find on their own. Unlike novice guides who merely read from a script, I excel at transforming China’s thousands of years of rich history and dry official facts into vivid, engaging, and easy-to-understand stories. With 16 years of hands-on experience leading tours, I have complete control over all the travel logistics, itinerary arrangements, and unexpected situations. You won’t need to consult travel guides, worry about scheduling, or plan your route at all. I’m highly professional and detail-oriented when it comes to travel services, yet approachable and humorous in my interactions. My sole mission today is to free you from the hassle of the little things so you can fully immerse yourself in Beijing’s authentic beauty and culture, and enjoy a relaxed, joyful, and unforgettable journey! I’m thrilled to meet all of you—let’s embark on this wonderful Beijing adventure together!

I was born and raised in Beijing, and I love everything about this city; its rich history and fascinating culture are well worth exploring for visitors from all over the world. This wonderful two-day private tour of Beijing will take you to fascinating attractions such as the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Hutong. The Great Wall: The Great Wall, first constructed during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods and extensively built during the Qin Dynasty, was used in ancient times to defend against foreign invaders and is now a World Heritage Site. The Summer Palace: A renowned imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty. Kunming Lake sparkles with rippling waters, Wanshou Hill is lush with greenery, and the Long Corridor features exquisite painted murals. Let’s enjoy a delightful tour of charming Beijing together!
Day 1: Depart at 8AM to visit the Summer Palace, built against the backdrop of Wanshou Hill and Kunming Lake. It combines the finest elements of northern and southern Chinese garden design. Afterwards, we will tour the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for blessings, with the ancients using ingenious ingenuity to create an acoustic marvel. Day 2: Today we begin with a visit to the Forbidden City in Beijing, which is divided into the front court for governance and the inner court for residential quarters. Next, we head to Mutianyu Great Wall, a section of the Ming Dynasty border defences characterised by lush vegetation and gentle slopes. We will ascend to admire the scenic mountain views.
