I’m Mark, a professional English-speaking tour guide from Beijing, and I’ve been guiding international visitors around Beijing for exactly 16 years. In the tourism industry, 16 years is more than just a number—it’s a guarantee of my expertise! You can think of me as a “Beijing Travel Encyclopedia.” I’ve witnessed the changing times and the passing of the seasons at Beijing’s various attractions, have memorized every little-known historical anecdote, and have uncovered countless stunning photo spots that are hard for tourists to find on their own. Unlike novice guides who merely read from a script, I excel at transforming China’s thousands of years of rich history and dry official facts into vivid, engaging, and easy-to-understand stories. With 16 years of hands-on experience leading tours, I have complete control over all the travel logistics, itinerary arrangements, and unexpected situations. You won’t need to consult travel guides, worry about scheduling, or plan your route at all. I’m highly professional and detail-oriented when it comes to travel services, yet approachable and humorous in my interactions. My sole mission today is to free you from the hassle of the little things so you can fully immerse yourself in Beijing’s authentic beauty and culture, and enjoy a relaxed, joyful, and unforgettable journey! I’m thrilled to meet all of you—let’s embark on this wonderful Beijing adventure together!

Having grown up in Beijing, I take great pride and confidence in the city’s cuisine and culture, and I am delighted to showcase the beauty of Beijing to my clients. I love every aspect of this city; its long history and fascinating culture make it well worth exploring for visitors from all over the world. This unforgettable three-day private tour of Beijing will take you to historic sites such as the Yonghe Temple, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the hutongs. Let’s set off together on this wonderful journey through Beijing!

Your Beijing tour itinerary

Day 1: Depart at 8AM to visit the Summer Palace, set against the backdrop of Wanshou Hill and Kunming Lake. We will then visit the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors once offered sacrifices to heaven to pray for bountiful harvests. Day 2: Today, we will first visit the Forbidden City, which is divided into the Imperial Audience Hall and the Imperial Residence; the former was used for state affairs, whilst the latter served as the residential quarters. We will then head to Mutianyu Great Wall to take in the magnificent mountain scenery. Day 3: Today, we will first visit the Beijing Panda Centre, followed by a tour of the exterior of the Olympic venues, the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube, before returning to the hotel. If your group consists of more than four people, please contact me via private message to receive an updated quote.
