Then drive around 2 hours and reach at Gubei water town, well the water town resort cover an area of 0. 5 million square meters that with Ming and Qing ancient style courtyards, with different 5 star hotels, 8 boutique hotels, over 200 restaurants and shops, as well as over 8 cultural exhibition areas over there. Then we will hike around Simatai Great Wall, which is the most well-known Wild Wall in Beijing. It's 6 km length is lined by sheer rock faces that with 1200 meters from the ground. 80% of the quality bricks, showing you a more wild authentic Great Wall experience. This section of the Great Wall was very different with other part of the Great Wall. Simatai was known for its steepness and originality, which were built along the steep mountain ridges and watchtowers with cliffs on both sides.
