Please note: Please book this tour at least 8 days ago, because Tickets to Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park instead of the Forbidden City. The tour will not be available every Monday as Forbidden City is closed. Meet at your hotel lobby, and then walk to nearby subway station or take a taxi for going to forbidden city , and the walking around inside of forbidden city then stay there for 2 hours, with 6 main halls in the center area of site. The construction of forbidden city started in 14th century as the most important imperial building during Ming dynasty, the Forbidden City was divided into main office and living quarters, which is a palace complex in a central part of the city. It is surrounded by a 29 feet high wall and a 190 feet wide moat. The palace has 4 tall guard towers where guards used to keep watch for enemies and assassins.
