You get to see the forbidden city through the eye of a native Beijinger like me! Forbidden City was first built in 1420 Ming dynasty, it was the residence for 24 Ming and Qing emperors lived and ruled in China. Enjoy an impressive 4 hours private walking tour with a Beijing local guide. Please book this tour at least 8 days ago, (each person's passport copy needs to be provided),because Tickets to Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park instead of the Forbidden City. (Forbidden city is closed on each Monday)
You will be picked up at the hotel and depends on the location of your hotel, the guide will suggest either take the subway or taxi to the Forbidden city. Traffic is about 20-30 minutes to get the east flowery gate of the Forbidden city, walk about 10 minutes to the front entrance (Meridian Gate, Wu Men). Visit the Forbidden city for about 3 hours. （Entrance ticket is not included, please prepare Chinese cash 60 Yuan per person, passport need to be brought with you for the ticket and security check)
