Beijing highlights in 5 days

With your best interests at heart, I designed this 5 days tour to ensure that you get to maximize your limited time in Beijing. Have you seen illuminated Beijing?, it's the best view ever! Where else do we experience this best non other than Houhai and Hutong street themselves where the streets get lively. We'll get to see Tiananmen square, the Forbidden city. Temple of Heaven too!, it was the place where the ancient emperors prayed for good harvest in Spring and worshiped God of Heaven in Winter. Summer Palace is another sight to see, it was the Summer resort for ancient emperors, empresses to avoid the Summer heat, the garden is about 290 hectares, one of the biggest imperial gardens in China. Of course, we will also visit the majestic Mutianyu Great Wall of China, the ancient defense project to avoid attacks from Mongolians! Come see all these marvellous sights with me, a true local. Lets walk down the path of ancient warriors and royals. An experience to last a lifetime for sure!

Day 1: Visit the Tian An Men Square where the first president of China Mao Ze Dong proclaimed the founding of New China on Oct 1st 1949, the Forbidden city where 24 emperors during Ming and Qing dynasty lived and ruled China. (It will take about two to three hours walk to visit) Lunch will be chosen in a local restaurant and then visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Day 2: Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall which is a less crowded section in Beijing. Lunch will be in a local restaurant at the bottom of the Wall and then visit the Summer Palace in the afternoon. Drive pass the Olympic stadiums Day 3: Visit the Beijing zoo and Hutong area. Day 4: Visit the Lama Temple and Confucious temple in the morning , after lunch visit the 798 art gallery or shopping in the market Day 5: Ming tomb, Sacred Way, Juyongguan Great Wall This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour for you
