My name is Tony, a licensed English-speaking tour guide in Beijing. For the past 15 years, I have been dedicated to showing friends from all over the world this amazing city. In short, I am not just your tour guide—I am your local guide in Beijing, a storyteller of history, a navigation expert, a culinary explorer, and sometimes even a witty ‘human GPS’. Over the past 15 years, I have visited the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace countless times, recounted the stories of the Great Wall thousands of times, and helped thousands of visitors avoid tourist traps, find authentic Peking duck, and snap perfect photos without any passers-by in the frame. I know every hidden gem, every shortcut, and every interesting tidbit of Beijing’s history, culture and daily life. I speak fluent English and am well-versed in different cultural customs, bringing centuries of history to life in a lively, engaging and accessible way – no dry lectures, just entertaining and practical insights. I’ve seen it all: sudden downpours, lost passports, missed buses, and travelers who fall in love with pancake at first bite. Don’t worry—I always handle any challenge with ease, so you can simply relax and enjoy the journey. My job is simple: to ensure your trip to Beijing is smooth, safe, unforgettable and filled with laughter. Whether you wish to delve into history, seek out authentic local cuisine or capture stunning photographs, I can cater to your needs. So, sit back, relax, and let’s explore the real Beijing and China together—with knowledge, ease and plenty of fun!

Ever since I was a child, I have often visited the Summer Palace. I used to live just two kilometers away from there. Every visit here has been a perfect trip for me. I remember being deeply captivated by its rich history and culture the first time I came. This unforgettable two-day private tour of Beijing will also take you to other famous landmarks such as the Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. The Forbidden City: known as the Purple Forbidden City during the Ming Dynasty, this was a supremely luxurious imperial compound where the emperor and his family resided. Temple of Heaven: This was the place where the emperor would ‘chat and make wishes’ to the heavens, praying for favourable weather and the prosperity of the nation and its people – a place steeped in ritual and solemnity. Furthermore, you’ll enjoy the convenience of daily hotel transfers and be able to appreciate each attraction at your own leisurely pace. Let’s explore and experience Beijing in depth together!
Day 1: Depart from the hotel lobby in the morning. First, visit the Forbidden City for approximately two hours, the largest surviving complex of ancient palace buildings in China. Its overall layout is strictly symmetrical, embodying the supremacy of imperial power and the order of ritual protocol. Next, visit the Silk Museum, followed by the Temple of Heaven, a surviving ancient sacrificial site renowned for its superb architectural craftsmanship. Day 2: You will experience one of China’s most significant attractions, the Mutianyu Great Wall. Afterwards, visit the elegant Summer Palace – the largest and most beautiful of the imperial gardens. After a stay of approximately two hours. Please send message to me if your group exceed 4 people; then I will show you updated price.
