Walking tour to the Brazilian side of the falls

While the Argentine side of the falls offers the "intimacy" of walking within the cascades, the Brazilian side provides the soul-stirring perspective of its true scale. On this private walking tour, I invite you to experience one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature through the eyes of a local. Our journey begins with a scenic drive into the Iguaçu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site protecting one of the last remnants of the Atlantic Rainforest. As your private guide, I handle all the logistics—from navigating the park’s shuttle system to timing our walk to avoid the peak mid-day crowds.

1. Meeting at : Hotel in Puerto Iguazu 2. Rainforest Shuttle: We board the official Double-Decker Park Bus for a 15-minute scenic drive. 3. The Falls Trail: We disembark at the Trilha das Cataratas (1.2 km). This path offers a dramatic reveal of the 275 cascades. We’ll stop at "hidden" balconies for photos while I share the ancient Guarani legends and point out the mischievous Coatis. 4. Devil’s Throat: We walk out onto the famous steel catwalk over the river. This is the "heart" of the tour—surrounded by 360 degrees of thundering water and invigorating mist. 5. The Ascent: We reach the upper level via the Panoramic Glass Elevator or the stairs for varying heights. We end at Porto Canoas, where the river is deceptively calm before its massive drop. 6. Return: After a break for photos, we board the shuttle back to the Main Entrance, and we'll go back to the hotel.
