Hello and a warm welcome to Vienna and Austria: My name is Andrea, i'm in my early sixties and I live on the countryside near Vienna. For more than 20 years I have worked for an industrial company in the accounting department until I decided to fulfill my dream and started the college for Austrian Guides which I finished with an exam in 2013. Since then I work with great passion as a tour guide. This profession allows me to get in touch with people from near and far. I may talk their languages (I do guiding in English, Spanish or German) and I may take my guests to the most beautiful places, the best we can offer in culture, architecture, history or also in culinary matters. Isn't it marvellous to be able to work with your passions? Music f. e. , I love to sing, which I do in two choirs, but sometimes you may also find me singing a song with you. I am also very fond of good food, with my friends we celebrate fancy homecooked meals every now and then, so I find it charming to take you to excellent food experiences. Especially the sweet corners in Vienna are quiet dangerous to my body index. My family, that means my husband, our three sons and my lovely sisters, we all live close together near the Viennese woods. Natur and countryside mean a lot to me. I love to take hikes over the little hills and vineyards. Wouldn't you love to come along and learn about the vine tradition while you admire the stunning landscapes at the Danube? Let's see if we get to know each other on one of my tours you will find below. Servus, as we say in Vienna! License Austria Guides Member of the assos. of Vienna Guides and of Lower Austrian Guides Academic title of the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien Mag.rer.soc.oec. (University of BA, Vienna) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

This is a short walk that will take us to the most important sights in the center of town, like St. Stephens Cathedral and the palace of the Habsburg Family called Hofburg. During the walk you get a general view about history, from the Romans founding Vindobona 2000 years ago to the glamerous times of the Habsburg dynastie who ruled for more than 600 years. We will hear about empress Sisi's difficult life at the Viennese court and about other important members of the Habsburg family . We will also talk about everyday life in Vienna today and if you wish we will have a short break at a sausage stand or we will taste some sweet delight at one of the stylish coffee houses. On this short excursion no entrances to museums are planned.
