Hello and welcome, I would be most happy to show you my Vienna: Elegant, full of art and history and at the same time a vibrant and very livable city in the heart of Europe. There are impressive and scenic places to show, countless stories to tell, surprising connections to make. Architecture, famous personalities, the changeable fortune of the city but also the small and "typical" details do make Vienna unique for me. This is exactly why I decided to become a guide. After majoring in political science and German philology at the University of Vienna and many years working for European Union programs I finally turned my fascination for my hometown into my profession. Having completed a two-years training course I passed the Austrian state examination for tourist guides in 2017 and since then I have been a full-time guide offering inspiring tours in the city as well as in many museums. Becoming a guide has been the best decision in my professional life. I simply love sharing my knowledge of Vienna and my enthusiasm for this city with visitors from all over the world and I gladly adjust to the interests of my guests. I focus on overview and themed walking tours as this is the best way to explore and discover the town. From the famous squares to the hidden corners - let's do it together! Licensed Austria and Vienna Guide Masters degree in political science and German language and literature, University of Vienna I am not a driver guide and I focus on walking tours. If wished, I can accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a separate car/minivan and driver. The price for a car and driver is charged extra.

Strauss, Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and many other prominent composers were connected to Vienna and contributed to its reputation as one of the world's capitals of music. How and where did they live, what inspired them and why was old Vienna so irresistible for them? On this walking tour we look at the big talent as well as some quirks of famous composers and musicians and hear about the social and historical context of their work and life. As a special extra I will present you little pieces of music during the tour, all of them composed in Vienna and /or staged here for the first time. This way you will get to know the birthplaces of some of the most famous melodies of classical music. A fascinating experience! Since this tour leads you through some of the most scenic areas of Vienna's historic city center, it makes it both for lovers of music and first time visitors a lovely alternative to exploring the city.
Opera House Area adjacent to Saint Stephen's Cathedral including Mozart House Saint Stephen's Cathedral Hofburg Palace Michael's Square Mölker Bastei (one of the countless residences of Ludwig van Beethoven) Volksgarten/People's Garden or Stadtpark/City Park No inside visits are foreseen on this tour but if you are interested we can integrate also composer's flats such as Mozart House Vienna into the itinerary.
