Like many before me, I am an adopted Viennese, drawn to this city by its artistic brilliance and historical grandeur. As an art historian, Vienna felt like a natural calling—a place where history and creativity converge. But beyond its cultural allure, what truly captivated me was Vienna’s cosmopolitan spirit and its citizens’ dedication to a balanced, high-quality lifestyle. I was born in Oslo in 1988 and raised in some of Norway’s most international communities, immersed in Norwegian, French, English, and Polish. After completing my degree in Art History, I embarked on a journey to explore the world beyond Norway, seeking inspiration and experiences across continents. Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a professional storyteller, sharing history, art, and culture in major cities across Europe, the U.S., and Canada. Since 2017, Vienna has been my home and base of operations. Here, I guide and organize tours, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into the region’s rich history and vibrant culture. As of 2025, I am also the founder and creator of a family-run creative salon, studio and gallery for art, photo and podcasts called Kepinski Studio. So when I am not sharing Vienna’s stories on the streets, I pursue my passion for oil painting, building a community for creatives at the studio, create travel content, and then sometimes leaving the city to explore Austria’s breathtaking landscapes on long, challenging hikes. I share my happiness here with my two lively and inspiring beautiful caiques parrots, Napoleon and Sisi. With a worldly perspective and a passion for teaching through humour and storytelling, I strive to craft tour experiences that bring history, art, and culture to life—leaving a lasting impression on all who join me.

Halfway between Vienna and Salzburg, along the Danube, lies Mauthausen. Once a small and quiet riverside village, its name is now linked to one of the darkest chapters in Austrian and European history. On 5 May 1945, Mauthausen KZ was freed by US forces. Mauthausen was among the last major concentration camps to be liberated and one of the longest-running camps of the Nazi system. Many survivors lived to share their stories, though fewer remain with us today. For me, this history is not only key to understanding Austria’s 20th century—it is also deeply personal. This full-day experience includes a detailed visit to the former camp sites. Throughout the day, I share historical insight, placing Mauthausen within the wider social and political history of 20th-century Austria.
