Welcome to Austria, welcome to Vienna! My name is Elisabeth and I have been working as a tourist guide in Vienna and Lower Austria since 2007. Fine Arts, music and history have been my passion since young age and I love to share my knowledge with people from all over the world. Foreign languages are an essential part of my work and I enjoy using them in my tours. It's a great pleasure for me to show my guests the beauties and cultural treasures of Vienna and Lower Austria. For me guiding tourists is more than telling them history, it's telling them stories about history. I evolve my tours around funny anecdotes and the life of outstanding personalities and by doing so I try to breathe new life into the historical sites which we look at. Another important element of my tours is to interweave culture, history and culinary art. As a local I want to acquaint my clients with the Viennese lifestyle, the tradition of drinking coffee, cooking and the use of local food and as well as the joy of tasting outstanding wines. My tours are personal and individual and can be customized according to your wishes! Come along and discover the Viennese way of life with me! Licensed Austria Tourist Guide ("Austriaguide") since 2007. Master degree in Polish language, University Vienna, 2012 I am not a driver guide. If tours require a vehicle I will arrange for a separate car and driver.

Discover the splendid baroque Belvedere Palace with its adorable art collection! The Austrian Gallery holds art treasures ranging form medieval times up to the present day. In the focus of our private tour stand, of course, the masterpieces of Gustav Klimt like the famous "Kiss" as well as other outstanding paintings by Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka, Monet or Van Gogh. Admiring these fantastic paintings enables us to understand the fascination and special atmosphere of "Vienna around 1900". Besides that I will introduce to you more highlights of the Gallery from different centuries and we will visit the famous Marble Hall, where in 1955 the Austrian State Treaty was signed. Of course, the fantastic history of the whole Palace and its beautiful gardens will reveal to you while taking this tour! I can customize the tour according to your wishes: It's possible to extend it and include a visit of the Lower Belvedere, where temporary exhibitions are held.
