Servus & welcome to Vienna! Like many other Viennese, I chose Vienna as my heartfelt home because the only thing better than vacationing in Vienna is, of course, living here. Apart from being the capital of waltz, art museums, and Imperial Grandeur, Vienna is a very colorful, yet relaxed, contemporary hub regularly declared the most livable city in the world. Loving my city as much as I do, I delight in sharing its beauty and its stories with visitors like you! My story starts in the 1980s behind the Iron Curtain in the capital of Romania. However, following an adventurous migration, I mostly grew up in an Austrian province named Upper Austria. My first love was art, and it began with my studies of Textile Art & Design at Linz’ University. Needless to say, this is an everlasting love, and thankfully Vienna is a city full of beautiful museums and wonderful street art. Another passion of mine is travelling, and my second career as a flight attendant in Private Aviation allowed me to travel the globe, visit dozens of countries and live and work abroad in places like the South of France. But maybe my passion # 1 currently is history – following my history studies I decided to engage in a profession that permits me to be surrounded daily with culture, history, and beauty. Therefore, I returned to Austria, declared Vienna my home at last, and obtained my qualification and certification as a local guide. When I’m not introducing Vienna to dear travelers, I might be touring through some other fascinating corner of Europe as a trip leader, or I could be enjoying la dolce vita in the Mediterranean or perhaps attending a wine seminar in the Wachau. But just as likely, I’m at home experimenting with a newly discovered recipe, hunting for books in the antiquary, or running to the theatre to catch a play. I look forward to welcoming you in what is considered to be the biggest – and certainly the most charming - village in the world, and sharing my knowledge, humor, and our local culture with you!

We'll discover this impressive past and Vienna's present on a walking tour through the Historical Old town, filled with sights, monuments, and beautiful views. A guided visit to the Imperial Treasury, where the symbols of power are safeguarded, completes the morning. For your lunch break I can book a locally appreciated Viennese restaurant for you. Thereafter, we'll board our chauffeur-driven Mercedes van for a tour around legendary Ring Boulevard, and head to the magnificent baroque ensemble of Schönbrunn. Its refined Rokoko interior witnessed opulent balls, critical state conferences, illustrous albeit unbidden guests like Napoleon, and last but not least the end of the monarchy. Finally, admire the dazzling baroque gardens with their superb fountains, classical sculptures, and impressive viewpoints, before our car brings you to anywhere in Vienna you wish.

Two UNESCO world heritage sites in one day; half-day walking + half-day driving: - GUIDED WALK - 1,5 hours Hofburg complex incl. State Chancellery and Presidential Office, Josefsplatz, Spanish Riding school, Holy Trinity column, St. Stephen's cathedral. - private guided visit of IMPERIAL TREASURY (!Tuesdays: Capuchin Crypt) 1 hour - LUNCH break - 1,5 h. I can book a table in a popular local restaurant for Viennese fare (or whatever you prefer); I'll bring you to the place and pick you up after lunch. - RING ROAD + SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE - 4h. tour of Ring Road, to Schönbrunn for private guided tour of State rooms (22 rooms focus 18th c.), short, guided walk in the gardens, chauffeur-driven. Kindly note: for short notice bookings, a few hours may be required to secure the necessary tickets. As a certified guide, I am able to obtain tickets even during peak periods, and I will keep you informed while taking care of the arrangements. Please DO NOT purchase online palace tickets as they don't work with guided tours.
