Fine Arts and Crown Jewels

On this combined tour you will discover one of the world's most important art collections as well as the treasures of the House of Habsburg. We start at a stunning palace for the arts - Vienna's Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM). Opened in 1891 here the art collections of Austria's former rulers found a worthy exhibition venue. In the Picture Gallery, you can view paintings by Titian, Bruegel, Duerer, Vermeer, Rubens and other Old Masters. After our exploration of KHM we continue our tour in the Imperial Treasury Vienna which is situated in the Hofburg Palace. The treasury is a truly unique museum, the only one which shows a nearly complete set of medieval coronation insignia and regalia. The crown of the Holy Roman Empire and the crown of the Habsburg Emperors are displayed here. Reflected in further priceless objects and stunning artefacts is a millennium of European history.
