My hobby is my job, my job is my hobby! My original Hungarian surname is Orsolya, which means Ursula if you prefer. I was born in Budapest and settled down in Vienna in 1992 when I immediately fall in love with this beautiful city! I finished my master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts. At the same time I had the opportunity to discover how many musical, art, and architectural wonders this city has to offer. I wanted to share this experience with anyone who is visiting Vienna, so I completed the national training and received my accreditation as a licensed Austrian Tour Guide in 2003. Since then I have been guiding tours throughout Vienna and Austria in English, Hungarian, German and Portuguese. Along the way, I show you all the important historical and cultural sites of Vienna, where the former Habsburg Empire - one of the most influential rulers in Europe - had its seat for almost seven centuries-long, and where nowadays the historical traditions, the modern developments, and infrastructures are respecting each other. My enthusiasm for Vienna has many facets - as a music teacher in the music capital of the world, for instance, is an amazing experience. I am a self-employed tour guide. A tour where you can visit special locations that are not part of regular sightseeing tours, but still represent a special Viennese atmosphere through the legacy of famous personalities.
Meeting at The Upper Belvedere: first we will admire the palace from outside and walk along the garden. As next we will be visiting The National Gallery inside of the palace, focusing oh the works of Gustav Klimt: such like The Kiss an many others. From here we will take the tram "D" to get to the 19th distric (or we can catch a cab, please note, that the cab expences are NOT inclueded in the tour price) You can decide from A) or B): A) The House of Beethoven: visiting the former summer residence of Beethoven in the famouse cottage quartier Grinzing (1 hour) The tour ends here, but it is highly recommended to enjoy a lunch in one of the local veineries in Grinzing, the old fashion cottage destric. B) The Strauss House / Museum: visiting the exchibition and the original performence hall of the Strauss Dynastie (1 hour) The tour ends here. It is highly recommended to enjoy a lunch in Restaurant of the Strauss House. You can return back to the city, back to The Ring Road by the tram D, without your tour guide.
