Hi there! I'm Paul - a 3rd generation born and bred Perth Local. I'm a wine, whiskey and food lover who is passionate about sharing the very best local experiences - so that you can see our City from a local's perspective, and get a taste of why Perth is such a great place to live, eat and drink. I've been running private tours here in Perth and the South West of Western Australia since 2017. I started my own business after working in an office for 20 years, and I decided to follow my passion for travel, food and discovery rather than being stuck behind a desk every day. After all, Perth has 300 days of sunshine a year - why not make the most of it? Overview of your Perth tour
Famous for it's food, wine and natural beauty, immerse yourself in the pristine natural environment on this 'taste' of Margaret River tour while taking in the spectacular vistas of farmland, wine country and the coast. This tour is fully guided, not simply a driver service, and I understand that everyone has different interests and their own style of travel. As this is a private tour just for you, your exact itinerary for the day will be customised accordingly. This is a full day tour of 12 hours (covering approximately 600kms), with door-to-door pick up and drop off at your Perth accommodation. You'll arrive back in the City at approximately 7. 30pm, depending on traffic. This tour is also available as a two day/one night tour to allow you to explore more of the region.
Your Perth tour itinerary
As this is a private tour just for you, the itinerary can be tailored to suit your taste and interests (e. g. swap a winery for a brewery) My suggested itinerary for this tour is; • Depart Perth for the 3 hour journey south, stopping for a coffee break • Start your day in the region with a visit to the beautiful Ngilgi Cave for a semi-guided tour • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (Lunch is a la carte and own expense on the day) • Stop for photo opportunities at the dramatic Canal Rocks • Enjoy a private guided wine tasting at the Vasse Felix cellar door • Take a scenic coastal drive and stop for photo opportunities at the some of the Region's picturesque spots including Prevelly Beach, Surfer's Point (where the World Championship surfing events are held) and the Margaret River Mouth, where the river meets the ocean • Finish the day with a stop in Busselton to view the iconic Busselton Jetty • Begin our departure back to Perth, arrive back at your Perth accommodation approximately 7. 30pm
