We had the best tour with Patricia visiting wineries and also exploring areas to and from Mornington Peninsula. She certainly deserves more than a 5 star rating! The day was perfect, Patricia was waiting for us as we got off our ship, with a sign and a smile. She had a bag of goodies for each of us in the car as we traveled. (Water, snacks, chocolate and even a small adorable soft koala.) We had a delicious farm to table lunch with wine, at one of the wineries. Patricia chose wineries that had great wines tailored to our tastes, but also beautiful scenery. She certainly knows her wines and also Melbourne and its history. She was so easy to talk with and so knowledgeable, it was just the best day and experience!! We definitely recommend choosing Patricia when visiting Melbourne or just to visit the wineries. South of Melbourne is the Mornington Peninsula which is a haven for fine wines and fine food. Join me, who is passionate about wine and food, on a trip to the Mornington Peninsula along Port Phillip Bay via various seaside suburbs to Portsea. On our way, we shall enjoy a lovely lunch in Sorrento, or maybe in the Hinterland at one of the wineries. From Portsea, we drive across to the open ocean for great views before heading up to Red Hill into the depths of the wine country to enjoy some wine tastings. It is entirely up to you how many wineries you would like to visit. We return back to Melbourne via Arthur's seat which is a lookout point with views over Port Phillip Bay.
