I love getting out and about in my city of Melbourne. I love classic cars - finding them, restoring them, driving them and sharing them. I love meeting people - from all walks of life. And I love the prospect of creating individual tour and travel experiences that combine all of these things! Having travelled a good deal overseas, nationally, interstate and regionally I have come to appreciate the difference that local knowledge and a unique perspective via private touring can give to a holiday or celebration experience - and I have been developing my skills as an operator now for several years . . . changing hats from being a customer to becoming a host. :) By way of background, I strive to enjoy a world full of meaning, value, joy, humour and richness through the things I do and the people I spend time with . . . and this goes to being in the outdoors; enjoying a good meal and nice wine (also whisky after hours); discussing the ways (good and bad) of the world; staring up at the sky or out at the ocean; hanging about with my family, friends and neighbours; or simply reading the newspaper or a decent book. And, of course, finding a little time each week to have a wrench in my hand! My aim is to provide interesting, unique, relaxed (cruise), fun and informative experiences for my guests. I look forward to seeing you on the road!

A classic car tour to enjoy a day in one of the world's most liveable cities. Melbourne boasts an array of cosmopolitan experiences to be enjoyed in quick succession in this private travel experience: Think architecture, public art, gardens, coffee and food, bay beaches and natural scenery - all to be enjoyed with a day-trip in and around the city, cruising in a classic mid-fifties Chevrolet coupe. Your party of four can be collected from Melbourne's cruise line port, city hotels or a Carlton café for a private tour driven by your host, John F. - local Chevrolet enthusiast and drive-to location expert. Enjoy delightful city and inner suburban scenery, cool old school music, curated stops and visits, photo opportunities, the experience of cruising in a big ol' American car, a good bit of chit chat and the general feeling of being looked after with courtesy, attention and style.
A typical 'Melbourne discovery' tour can include: > Morning coffee in Carlton (one of Melbourne's fames!) > Albert Park Lake (Formula 1 GP circuit) > Royal Botanic Gardens > University precinct > Street food lunch stop - something quick and tasty! > City laneways (and street art) > Royal Park Native Garden - a small garden right near the city > St. Kilda > Queen Victoria Market (subject to open days) > Brighton Bathing Boxes And really, with so many options available in the city and surrounds the options and combinations for tours are endless! Some options change according to the days of travel. Yes, please contact for extended and custom tour itineraries.
