G'Day Seize this unique moment as Covid concerns subside to explore the wonders of Melbourne before the crowds return. As one of the world's safest destinations, Australia beckons you to uncover its charms. Allow me the privilege of introducing you to the enchanting city of Melbourne and its breathtaking surrounds. As a 5th generation local, born in the historic suburb of St Kilda, I'm uniquely positioned to curate an intimate and personalized experience, taking you on a journey through the best of what Melbourne has to offer. Ideal for those who prefer not to travel with large groups. After a successful career in solar power, I've embraced my passion for guiding visitors as I did throughout Australia during my university days. With an extensive knowledge of Melbourne's history, I treat you like family, unveiling not just the highlights but also the hidden gems of this vibrant city. Having lived in North America for eight years and explored both Europe and Africa, I understand what makes an unforgettable tour: flexibility and a perfectly balanced pace. Whether we drive, walk, or use public transport, prepare for an adventure tailored to your interests. My family heritage in Melbourne dates back to the 1850s goldrush, offering a unique perspective on the Aussie way of life. Discover with me what makes Melbourne truly special; from our rich multiculturalism and iconic laneways and cafes to the captivating and somewhat controversial street art. Take in stunning natural landscapes, the Aussie enthusiasm for all things sporting and the laidback lifestyle. Another shrimp on the Barbie? Allow me to whisk you away to the awe-inspiring Mornington Peninsula, a true Australian wonder. With activities ranging from wildlife encounters to beachside relaxation and scenic walks, you can also indulge in the region's wineries and cafés. Alternatively, join me for a tour of the renowned Healesville Sanctuary in the Yarra Valley, home to some of Australia's finest wineries and unique wildlife. Before your tour, we'll discuss your interests, allowing me to craft a bespoke itinerary that reflects your lifestyle and desires. Your time is precious, and I would be honored to guide you and your travel partners through the extraordinary, unforgettable experiences that Melbourne and its surroundings have to offer. Looking to break up your holiday with some golf? How about a round of 18 holes at one of the Mornington Peninsula's picturesque courses? Plus your non golfing partner can relax at the nearby Hot Springs. Of course, we also see some of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula scenery on the way, how much depends on your timetable and the tee-off time. Options include Arthurs Seat Gondola ride and/ or Cape Schanck views. The first is Eagle Ridge, a lovely picturesque course and Clubhouse. The course meanders through local tee-tree scrub. The second course and modern Club facility is at the RACV Cape Schanck Resort. You will be in awe of the facilities and course layout.
