I love getting out and about in my city of Melbourne. I love classic cars - finding them, restoring them, driving them and sharing them. I love meeting people - from all walks of life. And I love the prospect of creating individual tour and travel experiences that combine all of these things! Having travelled a good deal overseas, nationally, interstate and regionally I have come to appreciate the difference that local knowledge and a unique perspective via private touring can give to a holiday or celebration experience - and I have been developing my skills as an operator now for several years . . . changing hats from being a customer to becoming a host. :) By way of background, I strive to enjoy a world full of meaning, value, joy, humour and richness through the things I do and the people I spend time with . . . and this goes to being in the outdoors; enjoying a good meal and nice wine (also whisky after hours); discussing the ways (good and bad) of the world; staring up at the sky or out at the ocean; hanging about with my family, friends and neighbours; or simply reading the newspaper or a decent book. And, of course, finding a little time each week to have a wrench in my hand! My aim is to provide interesting, unique, relaxed (cruise), fun and informative experiences for my guests. I look forward to seeing you on the road!

This is a great way to see Melbourne from the water's edge, especially if time is tight. The Bayside tour hits the sights immediately with a Botanical Gardens drive-by and a lap around Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix circuit, Albert Park Lake. From there it is all vision down the famous Beach Road for stops at the Brighton Bathing Boxes, headlands, and a lovely ice cream and coffee stand at Half Moon Bay. The return includes a stop at popular St. Kilda Pier to mix it up with locals and travellers alike as they enjoy the foreshore, boardwalk and pier. (There might even be a penguin or two to be seen!) And yes, this one can be booked for sunset and all the photo ops that provides! Enjoy delightful seaside scenery, cool old school music, curated stops, photo opportunities, the experience of cruising in a big ol' American classic car, a good bit of chit chat and the general feeling of being looked after with courtesy, attention and style. Driven by John F. - local Chevrolet enthusiast and drive-to location expert.
A typical 'Melbourne to Bayside' tour can include: > CBD/Carlton pick-up > Botanical Gardens (drive-by) > Albert Park Lake > Beach Road > Green Point (city and peninsula views) > Brighton Bay (bathing boxes) > Half Moon Bay - coffee stop > St. Kilda Pier > Port Melbourne > Return to CBD Some options change according to days of travel.
