Hi I'm Nicolas. I was born in Ushuaia in 1985 and I grew up exploring with my family and friends the wonderful nature of this area in every possible way: hiking, climbing, skiing, sailing, kayaking, camping, etc. I also have been guiding since I'm 17 years old. This is about the same time when I started my guiding studies in the local university (Universidad de Tierra del Fuego). I chose the outdoors guiding as my profession because it is a great pleasure and a real passion for me to be the link between the nature and our visitors. Help others through my knowledge and experience to find themselves closer to the forest, the sea or the mountains is my goal every time I go to work. I'm very passionate as well about people diversity, so I love to customize my tours to better fit the visitor's needs. I you have any particular interest write me. It will be a great pleasure to help you. - University degree as a Tour Guide - Professional guide license (provincial) - Professional tour guide license (national park administration) - Professional canoe guide license (national park administration) - Professional Drivers license - Wilderness First Responder Certified - License of tour operator (in the province and inside the national park) - Port administration credential

Departing from your hotel or ship enjoy understanding the origins of Ushuaia and its present while heading towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. Once in the park you will visit the main attractions: Zaratiegui Bay with the End of the World Post Office, Acigami Lake (also called Roca), and Lapataia Bay (location of the southernmost tip of the panamerican highway). During the visit to the park you will have the chance to take some easy walks to get closer to the nature of the area. While visiting the park you will be able to get a good understanding of the biology, geology and natural history of the area. On the way back from the park you will get the chance to take some very nice pictures of the city when stopping on some great viewpoints. This tour can be combined with a tour on the Train at the End of the World. This historical train was inspired by a train used by the prisoners of a Penal Colony funded in Ushuaia in the late 1800's. Nowadays this is a nice relaxed way to enter or exit the park.
Discover the Tierra del Fuego National at your own pace with this exclusive private tour. - Drive the park in a premium car while your personal guide tells you stories of the region and explains you about the landscapes and the wildlife you see. - Visit the most remarkable places of the park: Lapataia Bay, southern end of the Pan-American Highway, Roca (or Acigami) Lake, Zaratiegui Bay, End of the World Post Office, and Train at the End of the World, among others. - On the way to the park learn about the origins of the southernmost city in the world. - On the way back take some great pictures of the city from two different hidden viewpoints. Itinerary can be customized upon request.
