Into the Wild Ushuaia National Park

Hello everyone, My name is Emilio, born and raised on the big island of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. At the age of 20, I did an exchange program and spent two years living in New Zealand and Australia to improve my English and to enjoy the life of a traveler. When I returned home, I opened a backpacker's hostel in Ushuaia, ran it for 8 years, and in my free time kept traveling, and have been lucky enough to get to know all the continents, including Antarctica. In all my travels, I realized that meeting a local guide, that spoke my language, changed how I experienced and understood each place, so in 2010, I decided to take the tourism guide program at the University of Tierra del Fuego. Since 2015, I have been working as a licensed guide with my own vehicle, and I really enjoy taking tourists to unique places and sharing my knowledge, and walking to show them the natural and historical gems that this city has to offer. I think I understand well how a traveler feels in another city, and this is why I really enjoy being the one who helps them make the most out of every minute of their trip!
