At the age of 25, I embarked on a journey to Malaga, Instantly I was captivated by the city's allure, so I decided to make it my home. Eager to share my newfound love for Malaga, I pursued a career as a tourist guide. I have a passion to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. During one fateful tour, I met Silvia, an Italian tourist whose infectious laughter and zest for life instantly captured my heart. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, our love prevailed and she is now my wife and mother of our two children Maria Victoria and Eduardo. Now in my 60s, I feel privileged to wake up each day and share the beauty and history of Malaga with eager visitors. I relish every opportunity to showcase the city's vibrant tapestry of culture, art, and gastronomy. Enjoy exploring with me the quaint streets of Malaga, trying new culinary delights, and immersing himself in the local arts scene. We had a wonderful time with Manuel in touring Malaga. He gave us a good feel for the city and gave us good advice about what activities would be more or less interesting for us as we were planning our week. We were there during Holy Week, and he gave us good insight on the activities and meaning. I had not realized how big the observations were and how Malaga was well...

I can't thank Manuel enough for stepping in and taking us on the best tour of Malaga. Our original tour guid got sick, so Tours by locals stepped in and and found us a new guide. Manuel was very informative took us to all the places we wanted to go, then shower us things we didn't know was there. Thank you, Manuel!

We enjoyed our time with Manuel as we leisurely walked around Malaga learning abut the history and culture of the city. He didn't waste time having us go to some touristy sites where there wasn't much to see--rather we focused on the neighbourhoods and the history. The tour ended with a stop for a drink and tapas which was enjoyed by all. I certainly would recommend...
