Hello & Aadaab ! 'Aadaab' is Lucknow's very own salutation to greet someone. 'Aadaab' is a plural form of the Persian word 'Adab' literally means 'respect to all forms'. This secular term of greeting was introduced by the Last Nawab of Awadh (Oudh) - Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. My name is Ravi, born and brought up in a nearby place to Lucknow and now for many years residing in Lucknow. I grew up with an immense love and interest for travel and history. My interest in Travel later lead me to pursue a career in this field. As a result of it I have completed my graduation programme in Tourism & Travel. Along with all that I had also got a golden opportunity to work with an Inbound Tour Company in the year 2012. Since then I have been involved in many assignments and completed them quite successfully under various capacity. Most of the time this was the role of full time Monument-Story Teller but yes I also enjoyed the role of a Tour Leader, Language Interpreter and Tour Product Researcher and developer. During these years, I was much honoured to show our city to many visitors including few renowned people across the globe, authors and travel bloggers and have found mention in few articles (online/off-line) on national and international level. In all these years I have also developed my keen interest in Photography, specially Food Photography, Architecture, Life-Style, Religious Mythology, Indian History and Podcast.
