Guide #63681
Hello Traveler, are you dreaming to discover the South of France? Look no further! I am Tanya, an experienced guide and art history enthusiast. Let me show you the regions I love most - Riviera and Provence, true sanctuaries for the senses! With over seven years of guiding experience across the enchanting regions of the French South but also of Paris, Normandy and the Loire Valley, I have honed my skills in providing immersive and unforgettable experiences to travelers from all corners of the globe. I am a Licensed guide and a graduate of the Sorbonne University and the Higher School of Fine Arts in Paris, with a Masters degree in Art History and Contemporary Art. Let's say, I "breathe art" and I pursue various artistic hobbies. My expertise in French history and art, garnered from guiding in iconic locations such as Versailles, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, Normandy with D-Day landing beaches, Loire valley castles and many others, allows me to explain regional history within the larger context of France and art history. This provides a deeper understanding of the cultural tapestry that makes the French Riviera and Provence so unique. I hold a deep appreciation for French heritage and craftsmanship, actively fostering connections with local artisans and promoting sustainable practices rooted in historical traditions. Whether navigating picturesque routes with awe-inspiring viewpoints or unveiling hidden gems off the well-trodden trails, I am committed to ensuring your journey is not only informative but also visually breathtaking. As an avid art history enthusiast, I like bringing an extra layer of depth to your tours, weaving into the millennial history of France the life stories of such iconic artists as Monet, Cezanne, Renoir Picasso, Matisse and Chagall, who found inspiration in the captivating beauty of the Riviera and Provence. Considering communication to be the essence of successful journeys, I bring a wealth of cultural curiosity and multilingual fluency, cultivated through a life of global exploration. Bridging cultural gaps is not just a task but a wonderful experience, as I aim to infuse your adventure with positivity and an amiable persona. Every tour with me is a personalized, carefully curated and meticulously organized journey. Together, we will craft a tailor-made holiday that breathes life into your unique interests and passions, whether it's history, art, architecture, gastronomy, crafts, shopping, nature or simply unwinding on pristine beaches. I love the South of France so much because it is a perfect combination of stunning nature, authentic Provençal character and rich history with magnificent sights, delicious foods, glamorous feel and laid-back atmosphere, where we practice "the art of living" with passion and pride. Let's unlock the secrets of this mesmerizing region and create cherished memories together! Outstanding tour with Tanya. She is incredibly knowledgeable about history in general, and art history in particular. She is also very personable and fun to be with- we enjoyed spending the day with her very much. We highly recommend her tours and hope to see her again when we return.
Tanya gave us a fantastic tour of the Luberon perched villages on a one-day stopover before we flew home from France. She picked us up where our boat was docked in Arles, and we took off to see the sights and find some lavender. We were a bit worried about the lavender because we had heard it was being harvested early because of the heat, and the first fields we came to...
the day was so much fun and quite beautiful. Our guide was fun, and quite knowledgeable about the regions. our day flew by and before we knew it was time to return to the ship. i would highly recommend a day through Provence with Tanya
Our family of 16 (grandparents, parents and grandchildren) had the pleasure of touring with Tanya (and her referred photographer Vera) for the purpose of taking family photographs in the lavender fields, and at the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin, outside of Menerbes, France (for our 50th wedding anniversary). Tanya and Vera were exceptional in every sense of the word. ...

Thank you so much, Gary! And congratulations again on your 50th wedding anniversary—a truly wonderful milestone. It was a pleasure meeting your beautiful family and seeing three generations come together to celebrate such a special occasion. The warmth, laughter, and love you all share made the day memorable for Vera and me as well. We’re so happy we could help capture...
