As a Halifax native, raised in the surrounding area, I find immense joy in meeting new people and introducing them to the splendor of Nova Scotia. My tours are designed to be private and flexible, allowing you to immerse yourself in local culture along scenic routes, free from the hustle and bustle of large tour groups. I often venture into places inaccessible to tour buses, ensuring you encounter local areas that others may miss. With a wealth of knowledge, I share the history and insights of the areas we explore. While my tours are typically listed as 5 - 8 hours, I can accommodate longer tours for cruise guests or customize experiences for those staying in Halifax. I can host groups of up to 12 with two vehicles (with restrictions) and based on availability. Additionally, I can plan multi-day trips to various areas of Nova Scotia, including Cape Breton, as well as other provinces including Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. I'm passionate about the outdoors and have a martial arts background. After living in Toronto and Edmonton, the call of the sea and a slower pace brought me back home in 2011. I take pride in being both Canadian and a proud Nova Scotian! During the COVID period, I rediscovered fishing, and we can swap stories about the 'big one that got away' or the triumphs of a successful catch. I'm easygoing and have a sense of humour—consider yourself warned! All necessary health and safety protocols are in place, including vehicle sanitation. As of March 21, 2021, most restrictions in Nova Scotia have been lifted, with the exception of hospital settings. I've also received four COVID-19 vaccinations. Late Dec - into Jan 2024 I spent one month in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. I value using 'local guides' when I travel to get the real flavour of the people and culture.
