Hello! I'm Sabrina. Welcome to the southernmost city in the world!

Since I was a little girl, I travelled a lot with my family and I dreamt to be a tour guide. Now I have been guiding for more than 30 years!

Originally, from BA, I have been living in Ushuaia for almost 30 years now. As a nature lover, I have been looking for my own experiences through Argentina and Latin America and different places in the world. In 1995 when I finished the University in Buenos Aires, and graduated in Tourism with a degree as Tour guide, I moved to Tierra del Fuego, attracted by its nature and history. I've worked for many companies since then as a free-lance tour guide with my own vehicle.

In the last years, I focused my career in the area of Tourism & Conservation that led me to do some trips guiding other destinations such as East Africa and its great National Parks, Patagonia and Antarctica. From my work in the Association of Guides of Tierra del Fuego, I have participated in the creation process of some management plans of the protected areas of the Province of Tierra del Fuego and created and a project related to "Responsible Tourism" in the Onashaga-Beagle Channel.

I am very curious and I love to learn new things all the time. In 2012, I finished a non-formal career as a Naturalist in the Argentine School of Naturalists. I took courses in regional history, archaeology, birding and I'm currently doing a Master in Antarctic Studies at the local University. In my free time, I enjoy going hiking, skiing, exploring and spending time with my family and friends.

Starting in Ushuaia, our tour takes you on a scenic journey through the city, and its highlights. Explore the Mission and Ecological neighbourhoods, delve into the rich history of The Old Prison, and immerse with a local in the little Downtown pulse.

Continuing eastward, we will discover the picturesque valleys where outdoor and winter sports are offer. In summer, the landscape transforms into a hiker's paradise, with trekking trails branching off from the main road.

Then, our tour continues towards Paso Garibaldi, the pinnacle of National Route 3, where we traverse the majestic Fuegian Andes and Sub Antarctic forest. Here, breath-taking views of Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano await, offering a chance encounter with the magnificent Andean condor.

Following back this extraordinary route, part of the illustrious Pan-American Highway, we will have the possibility of enjoying delicious meals, including barbecued lamb and famous Argentine pastries like "dulce de leche. "

Ushuaia Tour& Lakes Distric - Full Day

As you set out on your city tour, you will discover a land of incredible beauty, rich history and culture, and fascinating nature. Ushuaia is a city that has steeped in history, from its indigenous roots, the arrival of European explorers and famous expeditions, to the famous penal colony set by Argentinian government, there are countless stories to discover.

From the interesting museums, amazing views, to the quaint streets filled with colourful architecture, every corner of Ushuaia holds a piece of its past and its present.

During this full panorama of the area, we will enjoy a beautiful walk of about 30 minutes in the Martial Glacier Reserve that is located in the upper part and it is one of the best views of the city! After that, we will end by visiting the Maritime and Old Prison Museum.

By the end of the tour you will be able to continue exploring the main street on your own or going back to departure spot.

Half Day Ushuaia City Tour

Nestled at the southernmost tip of South America lies Tierra del Fuego National Park, one of the most visited protected areas in Argentina. Very close from Ushuaia it offers beauty sceneries of the southern portion of the sub Antarctic forest, from the high Andean steppe, down to the maritime coast of the Beagle Channel.

The park is home to an astonishing array of flora and fauna, including exotic species as beavers.
Mountains, rivers, bays and dense forest offer opportunities for taking lovely pictures as doing some hiking and bird watching. Tierra del Fuego National Park is more than just a natural wonderland. It's also a place steeped in history and culture, where Yagan, the former inhabitants, had lived for more than 6000 years!

We will visit Ensenada Zaratiegui bay, Roca Lake and Lapataia bay, doing short walks to see the nature of the Park.

As we turn back in Ushuaia we will drive through some of its typical neighbourhoods to enjoy the most stunning viewpoints before going back to departure spot.
