Jay W.

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

I'm a semi-retired academic who is passionate about the natural and cultural assets of my native province.

I've conducted custom tours in Halifax since 2012, and also work with Road Scholar programs as a group leader and lecturer.

Nova Scotia has spectacular coastal scenery, friendly people, and a surprisingly complex past. Prepare to be informed and entertained by Bluenose culture!

I offer tours year-round, so please check my calendar for availability. I can accommodate groups of up to six.

A Recent Review of this guide

Jay was a wonderful guide. He was flexible, accommodating and thoughtful. His thorough knowledge of the history of the area was very interesting and gave us new insights. We enjoyed our day with him and highly recommend him as a guide.
